Accidental breaststroker
{12may2010} I saw it as I walked past the swimming pool on my way back to the apartment after my morning gym session; it seemed to be breaststroking desperately, but making no progress, as it tried to reach the edge of the pool.
So, unusual for me, as I prefer to let Nature work its magic, I hauled it out of the water, and let it drip dry on my sweaty towel as I completed the trip to the apartment.
Later, I extracted my rescue payment...a short photo-session, cut short when it cried "enough", clicked open its spotted wing cases and flew out the window.
